How we Have Obtained Writers

All writers that currently do work for us have explicitly requested the opportunity to write for us. The BWP does not and has not solicited for writers in the past or present.

Why do Writers Seek out the BlackWebPortal?

The reason that writers seek the BWP out is that we have a large and steady audience that ranges between 473,000 and 512,000 visitors per month. Thus we have what professional and amateurs writers want: and audience.

How do Writers get in Now?

Writers e-mail us occasionally and we choose to accept or not accept their propositions.

What Kinds of Subjects do you Accept?

We are picky. We only choose subjects that are of benefit to the Black community. Sometimes we choose entertainment and sports authors to lighten up the load. But over all, we choose the wholesome route as interpreted by the editor in charge.

What Happens if I'm Accepted?

We give you a page where you can add your author profile to our Author database.

Can I Review Your Freelance Agreement?

Yes, please read the agreement as it protects both you (the Client) and the BlackWebPortal.com (the Provider) from harm. We treat your content like a paper magazine article in that after a while you will not be be able to edit past submissions in that they will be eternally in our database. We don't resell or RSS feeds at this time.
