Los Angeles, CA The Recycling Black Dollars Family regrets to announce the Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007 passing of their Founder and President Muhammad Ali Nassardeen.
Muhammad was a great man, he will be sorely missed by many. I go back 10 years with the brother. He has always been there for Black businessmen like myself...nurturing, advising, and sometimes kicking a brother in his butt!
He has many living trophies...I'm one of them. According to Wikipedia; A trophy is a reward for a specific accomplishment, and usually afterwards serves as proof of merit. Last Mon Oct 15, his trophies showed by candlelight...present were the local LA leaders of the Urban League, 100 Black Men, Project Islamic Hope, The Nation of Islam, Bank United and a host of community activist. All giving testimonials of Muhammad Nassardeen travels from the White House to the street protests against injustice and poverty.
Muhammad was an economic activist, promoting the concept of the Black dollar as the key to true freedom and economic parity in America. He walked the talk and because of his direct efforts and those of RBD many a small businessmen like myself got a start and access to mainstream dollars. I will always credit him as a factor in my success.
Black websites are now setting up online tributes and forums to honor and credit him for all he did for the Black community. Lets not let this dynamic brothers passing go unnoticed...
