• Venus Defeats Dinara Safina in a 51 minute laugher. 6-1, 6-0

Five-time champion Venus crushed the overwhelmed (a real butt kicking) Agnieszka Radwanska 6-1, 6-2 on Tuesday, and two-time winner Serena followed her into the semifinals with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Victoria Azarenka.

No. 3-seeded Venus will next face top-ranked Dinara Safina, who overcame 15 double-faults and beat German teenager Sabine Lisicki 6-7 (5), 6-4, 6-1 to reach the Wimbledon semis for the first time. The way the Venus is playing right now, this writer is picking Venus to win it all.

In the other half of the draw, No. 4 Elena Dementieva defeated Italy’s Francesca Schiavone 6-2, 6-2 to set up a semifinal encounter with No. 2 Serena Williams. This too was a booty kicking!

And get this, all top four seeds are in the finals!! Dinara Safina is No. 1, Serena Williams is No. 2, Venus Williams is No. 3, and Elena Dementieva is No. 4.

Cool. For James Blake tennis fans this is a great moment. Usually Blake hangs his head low and walk away glum, but this time he found the inner strength to stay involved in the doubles tourney even though he lost in the first round to Andreas Seppi of Italy.

I don't know how many of you were ready to puke when they saw how Joe Jackson tried to use his son's death to market his new record label. But in retrospect what else could we expect from a person that abused his family. Just like Michael said in his unauthorized biography. From Joe's own words he only cared about Michael if Michael was making money just for him. Our Leaders at work: Gov. Mark Sanford

Oh, you don't know about South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford? You mean you don't know about the 4 5 year old governor who was told by his wife to stop his relationship with his Argentinean mistress Maria Belen Chapur and went AWOL during father's day from the state he governs, his wife, and his four boys. Oh, you don't know about this man who claims to have family values but hurt his wife deeply and has traumatized his kids. (Poor kids, they have to go to school with all of their friends knowing what a Jackass their father is)

But folks think about it. How many of you can not show up at your job for 5 days and still be employed or seriously reprimanded? How many of you would trust your church minister if he made was sleeping with a woman out of his marriage while all of you sat in the chapel? Not many.

Ladies and gentlemen, it takes a lot of time to cheat. Doesn't it folks? (Hey, I'm not accusing anyone) Think about it. How much time do folks think about their other lover in their lives if they have one? Songs like Secret Lover by Atlantic Star or Me & Mrs. Jones by Billy Paul tells the story about how much time many males and females spend away from the legal other and their family as well as the thoughts you have for their cheat-mate throughout the day.

The time it takes to cheat takes time and the thoughts. The thoughts of the other takes away from your spouse and your family and the distance in many instances are palatable to many around the cheater.

I must applaud Jenny Sanford for not putting up the Mark Sanford bullshit.

Also, what is happening between Jenny and Mark is not private. Mark's behavior takes time away from governing his state. What is something horrible happened like an airline crash or flood? What is the wrong man or woman was to be executed and he was the only one that could stay the execution? Where is he: Cuddling up in Argentina with a woman that is not his wife. Maybe he'll start working on our national immigration policy if he is not fantasizing about Maria Belen Chapur's tan lines!

Look, the shipping industry has both government and corporate competitors. The U.S. Post Office does shipping and the public option is UPS, Federal Express, and DHL. The public has no problem with that!. In fact, FEDEX, UPS, DHL, and other shipping firms are very profitable even with the government competition.

So, why is there a problem about moving this model to the Health Industry? None. What is happening is that super rich lobbyist that are supportting the health insurance industry are trying to make sure that a Universal Plan does not get approved!

OPINIONIf President Barack Obama does not include a public option in the new Health Care plan then Barack will probably end up being a one term president or at most, lose his senate and congressional majority. Republican Senator Grassley says he wants a subsidy paid to the Health Insurance Companies. Isn’t this just corporate welfare for the Health Insurance firm? Yes, it seems like it. Think about it. Corporations receive $13 billion in profits. The CEOs get $119 Million in pay. And guess what ... that money has nothing to do with health care. The Revenue among all the players: Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and others is astronomical!!

Last week homegrown US terrorism hit inside our shores! The terrorist act was the execution of Dr. George Tiller, a famed abortion doctor from Kansas. Dr. Tiller, who had said women with access to prenatal testing needed options in case those tests uncovered severe fetal abnormalities, was shot to death May 31 while serving as an usher at his Lutheran church. Prosecutors have charged abortion opponent Scott Roeder, 51, with first-degree murder and aggravated assault in Tiller's death.

The second terrorist act was the murder of Private William Long, 23 and the wounding of Private Quinton I. Ezeagwula, 18. Both completed basic training within the past two weeks and had never seen combat. Their murderer: A Muslim convert named Abdulhakim Muhammad, 24, targeted soldiers “because of what they had done to Muslims in the past,” authorities said.

Both Scott Roeder and Abdulhakim Muhammad pleaded not guilty because of their causes.

On the gotcha side, we have another baby-mama drama! Here we have former Time Warner CEO Richard Parsons fathering a child with 32 year old model MacDella Cooper. This lady is young enough to be his child.

Parsons is due to mark his 31st wedding anniversary with his wife, the former Laura Ann Bush in August. They have three grown children: Gregory, Leslie and Rebecca. Parsons met Laura, a community activist with a doctorate in child psychology, at the University of Hawaii and he has frequently credited her with his success.

But what now? What is Barack Obama going to do? This dude is on his economic team and is the current Chairman of Citigroup.

Anyway, Parsons actions definitely show that CEOs are mostly talk and little talent. Basically a non-creative CEO job is just a figurehead job that anyone with half a bit of intelligence can do. Real CEOs are like Apple founder Steve Jobs, former CEO Microsoft Bill Gates, and former BET founder and CEO Robert Johnson who actually created the genres they sell in.

Memorial Day is gone and it is time to get back to work. This is, if you had the day off in the first place. Like most I put up a traditional 50 star red-white and blue flag and had a BBQ and beer in the back yard. Given that we are in the midst of a 10-day rainy period in Central Florida, it was nice that the rain stayed away until 6:00 p.m.

During the weekend had a chance to check out the new sci-fi flick, Terminator Salvation. Good film, solid story, and still it came in second with $67.5 million dollars to $70 million made by Night at the Museum. Definitely have to check Night at the Museum out. However, Star Trek is still strong and pulled in $29 million domestically.

Sure, sure, the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue is hot, but so are our galleries. Check out the 2002 Avonte galley (68), she was (is) very hot. How about our first thong gallery (38)! I think this gallery came out right after the Sisqo (where is he now) Thong Song hit. But I digress. Go back in time and check out the Ebony Man Magazine entries featuring our first gallery, the Nadra and Katrina gallery (69), and the Nikki Jackson (7) gallery.

After awhile it appeared that derriere size butted in and we did not want to be in arrears so we created some voluptuous galleries (172, 173) that featured ample rears. They were popular, but, who-wee, some of those rear ends were really, well, BIG!

Notice: President Obama has a Weak-kneed Dem Problem

Look folks, the only reason that democrats are in control is because they had a smart and intelligent candidate in Barack Obama. Otherwise, most of the democrats would still be wallowing in pity doing nothing to stop the False Bush & Cheney war machine in Iraq, the Illegal Wiretapping of Americans, and Illegal Bush/Cheney Torture program while they sucked their thumbs.

It was Obama that pointed out that the war was illegal. It was Obama that said wiretapping was illegal, and it was congress that allowed torture to move on. Just take a look at this pathetic Senator Harry Reid video and then you'll know what I'm talking about.

The bottom line a lot of democrats were just plain weak when it came to serving their constituency. But right now they see Obama as their way to catch up on the money they could not access at first and this, folks, is the wrong move.

Take the latest move by the Senate democrats. 53 out of 59 democrats voted not to give the Whitehouse the money to close the infamous Guantanamo Bay prison! It is well known that Guantanamo Bay is a major lightning rod for negative thoughts around the world. So you ask yourself: why did the Democrats deny the closure: they were scared by the GOP! And you wonder why this country went to war!

Ah, Monday, May 18th! Several weeks ago an acquaintance of mine made the off-cuff statement that ‘No-one was sure that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.’ I turned around and said, ‘What, it was obvious that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction. This fact was proven way back in 1989!’ This dude then said, ‘hey man, those government folks are smart people.’ I then said, ‘We can all read and analyze and just because you, my friend were too stupid to figure out that Bush, Cheney, Wolfowicz, Rumsfeld, Rice, Rove, and others had a business incentive to invade Iraq then put that stuff on yourself.

People, this is how the Whitehouse, Republican Guard, oops, Republican Party convinced the half of the masses of the USA that Iraq had WMDs. In addition, Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, and senior members in the GOP asserted falsely that Iraq and al Qaeda were working together.

Hey, everyone in the know knew (those that understood Saddam’s secular country) that Saddam Hussein could not stand al Qaeda. In a similar manner Cheney and Bush in 2007/2008 continued to bellow the lie that al Qaeda was teaming up with Iran!! Hey, if you’re in the know you know that al Qaeda is not particularly found of Shiites! (Thus one could never say that Iran was working with al Qaeda!)

So what has to happen? Well, a few grand juries and/or commissions have to be formed to get to the facts! Then, the government needs a special prosecutor or team of prosecutors to go after the top dogs.

The truth is out there and we the people have to get the GOP, Democrats, and Independents to work together to get to the truth.

After checking out the latest installment of the Star Trek franchise I left the theatre smiling ear to ear at just how well the movie was made. This avatar's grade for the new Star Trek Movie: A Solid A!

This movie completely revamps the original crew of Kirk, Spock, McCoy, Scotty, Uhuru, Sulu, and Chekov! The special effects: superb, but the story carries the special effects. Especially the carefully constructed interactions between Kirk and Spock, and surprisingly, Spock and Uhura? What?

Of course the 2009 Uhura exhibits a bit more sexual freedom than the original Uhura due to the times. Back in the late sixties that Nichelle-Shatner interracial kiss rocked the world. But now, the new Uhura is aggressive and ready to … well roll.

So where will I be this weekend? I'm be at the Disney Pleasure Island 24 Cinema (Stadium Seating) in my favorite seats, watching Star Trek! Oh yes, it is good to be a trekkie! And yes, I am looking forward to the new Kirk, Spock, Bones, McCoy, Chekov, and Zulu. Did I miss anyone?

Yep, its time to relax the politics for a day and deliver up some more quality galleries. First up we have the King himself, Lebron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers. Since arriving in the NBA some six years ago he has become more than hype ... he has become the real deal. At only 23 years of age he is performing at Jordanesque levels! For the eye candy bit we have Ms. Sabrina Sky, a model and actress that has appeared in numerous films (Thirteen Going On Thirty, Biker Boyz, Entourage, Starsky and Hutch, Dying For Dolly, A Cinderella Story, Little Black Book), tv series (ER, Good Morning Miami, Less Than Perfect, Fast Lane, My Wife And Kids, Cursed, Charmed, Miss Match, Threat Matrix, Karen Sisco, The Drew Carey Show, One On One, All Of Us, Method & Red, Cold Case, CSI And Las Vegas), videos & commercials (Coca-Cola, Coors, Tony Yayo, Nelly, Xzibit, etc.), and also was the body double for Halle Berry (two great galleries 1 | 2) in the thriller Gothika.

O.J. Simpson was acquitted of the murder of ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman in 1995 while Robert Blake (Little Beaver, Baretta) was tried and acquitted in 2005 of the murder of his alleged murder of his wife in 2001.

But did the media ride Robert Blake on that particular acquittal? No they didn’t! But when it came to O.J. Simpson the media (especially goofy Al Capone's Tomb Geraldo Rivera) took it upon themselves to convict him in the court of public opinion.

It’s a damn shame that O.J. Simpson (who is probably 100% innocent of the murder anyway) had to pay the price for the majority media’s personal public prosecution of his persona.

Take it from me, I hope that O.J. gets out of jail soon and leaves this country so that he can live free. This so called country did nothing about Bush, Cheney, Rice, or Rumsfeld who are culpable in the deaths of thousands of American soldiers (not to mention 100,000+ Iraqis) even less was done with the Blackwater (Xe) mercenaries that killed 17 Iraqis in cold blood. Thus, it is well known that justice U.S.A. style is given … well, unevenly.

Like many, this writer is a huge fan of comic books and unlike the Watchmen with its ode to blood-letting, the movie X-Men Origins: Wolverine keeps to good story telling. I give a solid high 4 out of 5 for this movie.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine delves into Logan's (Wolverines's real name) background that paints the picture of how he and his brother (Viktor aka Sabretooth) are different from other humans. After watching the movie for 5 minutes the viewer gets the point: Wolverine and Sabretooth can't be killed and they love to fight! The movie quickly moves from the Civil War, World War I (WW1), and WW2 and the Wolverine and Sabretooth fight on.

After their 100 years of fighting their existence becomes known to the government and that is where the plot really begins to grow! Get the picture! Sure you do. The bottom line: Wolverine is a must see for movie goers, and especially for science fiction fans.

This $1.2 Billion project is already underway and is lead by IBM, Lockheed Martin, and a few area players. In Orlando, FL (Lake Nona area) ground was broken in late February for a new hospital. Word is that there will be thousands hired in construction and many thousands more health care workers hired when the facility opens!!

On Tuesday morning, April 28th, 2009, First Lady Michelle Obama, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) participated in a Washington ceremony honoring abolitionist Sojourner Truth Tuesday morning.

The participants will preside over the installation of a bust of Sojourner Truth at the Capitol Visitor Center. The sculpture will remain on permanent display in the area called "Emancipation Hall," according to the Associated Press.

The name of the area reportedly acknowledges that black American slaves helped build the Capitol. House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) were also scheduled to speak, according to Politico.com.

Sojourner Truth was born Isabella Baumfree in 1797 in upstate New York. Her given name was Isabella Baumfree (also spelled Bomefree). A slave of Dutch slave owners, she spoke only Dutch until she was sold around the age of nine and learned to speak English.

In 1843, Baumfree took the name Sojourner Truth and became a traveling preacher, worked with the abolitionist movement and became a popular speaker for human rights. Her most famous speech, Ain't I a Woman?, was given in 1851 at a women's rights convention in Ohio.

Been paying attention to the news lately? Watching ABC, CBS, NBC, or maybe even a little Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann on MSNBC, then you know the roof has been blown off the Bush Administrations torture program. Get this, the Bush administration used torture even though they knew that the information that they might obtain would have been at most ambiguous.

In the meantime, former Vice President Slick Dick Cheney has been talking up a storm on the Fox network. He defends the practice of torture (what he calls enhanced interrogation) as something that needed to be done. The strange thing is, if he thought that torture was needed and was not illegal as he claims then why are the enlisted men and women of the Abu Ghraib fame still in jail or serving some sort of probation.

For instance, Rumsfeld claimed back on May 7, 2004 the following:
These events occurred on my watch. As secretary of defense, I am accountable for them. I take full responsibility. It is my obligation to evaluate what happened, to make sure those who have committed wrongdoing are brought to justice, and to make changes as needed to see that it doesn't happen again. I feel terrible about what happened to these Iraqi detainees. They are human beings. They were in U.S. custody. Our country had an obligation to treat them right. We didn't do that. That was wrong. To those Iraqis who were mistreated by members of U.S. armed forces, I offer my deepest apology. It was un-American. And it was inconsistent with the values of our nation.

Rummy also said on May 7, 2004 that:
We're functioning in a - with peacetime restraints, with legal requirements in a wartime situation, in the information age, where people are running around with digital cameras and taking these unbelievable photographs and then passing them off, against the law, to the media, to our surprise, when they had not even arrived in the Pentagon.

With the above Donald Rumsfeld statements and/or assertions, you would think that Rummy didn't know that he had already apriorily approved torture for both the CIA and the Armed Services!! If you read the CIA report authored by blah blah and the Armed Services report authored by Sen. Carl Levin, you can get to truth by yourself.

Then as Bush doubled the national debt from 4T to nearly 8 Trillion dollars this racist holier than though excuse for a Governor said nothing.

Obama campaigned with clarity, with focus. Obama campaigned to help the people reclaim America, keep their jobs, etc., etc. Even now President Obama is working overtime to put the USA back at the top of the 'Respected Heap' via hard work. But what is the assinine butt head of a Texas Governor doing? Telling the people of his state that Texas is going to secede from the union.

Republican governor of Texas, Rick Perry spoke at an Austin “tea-party” event yesterday, organized by conservative groups and Fox News to protest taxes and bailout spending, and perhaps got a little carried away, suggesting that Texans may get so fed up with the federal government, it may want to secede from the union. Governor Perry’s strident message whipped the conservative crowd into a frenzy as they yelled, “secede!”

Incredible!! Ignorant!! Un-American, Treasonist. Those are the words I have for Governor Perry and you should too.

Hell, if the government is so bad, then Gov. Perry, refuse the money for Border Patrol, refuse the money for the Rita reconstruction, until then behave as a statesman!!

But alas, Mr. Secessionist wants to do is be a redistributor of money to the rich. In actuality, most of the republicans promoted socialistic activities from 2000 to 2008 by reducing the taxes to the rich, moving money to international tax shelters, and award the most unproductive of Americans (Fortune 1000 executives) millions, upon millions of dollars.

After all, from 1985 to 2007 all these Fortune 1000 companies did was send manufacturing and IT jobs overseas to sell cheaper goods to Americans that lost their jobs to their lowly waged overseas counterpart! Couldn't they see that if the middle class were losing their jobs that the middle class wouldn't be able to afford even the lowest of low cost goods?

If these executivew were smart ... maybe, but they weren't.

But ah I have diverge from my criticism of the treasonist Perry. What Perry knows is that Obama did not listen to the Republicans BECAUSE they wanted to keep the same status quo.

The other followers in the Ultra-Right side: Racist? How do you know? Well, their arguments are not based on the issues. In fact these Tea-Baggas don't care about the economy they care about the color of their current President's skin.

Well, that is the BWP Buzz Zone Rant of the day, but it is real. The Governor of Texas but suggesting that they secede from the union because they are not getting their way is dangerous and way out of line.

Mr. Perry is UnAmerican and should be ousted from public office.

I am sure by now you have heard of this so-called grass roots protest on April 15th, called a “tea party” where a group of so-called Americans are protesting what exactly? I am just not sure. You attempt to look at what they are saying but they have no clear issue as to what they are revolting or protesting against. What I could hear were the screams about Obama being a socialist, a surrenderist, and that they, the protesters do not want to be slaves to the government.

Nancy Pelosi was the first to jump up and calls the ‘tea party” movement what it is – ‘Astroturf’, and not a grass roots protest at all. She says that the “tea party” is a movement sponsored by the wealthiest people in America to get rich people tax cuts instead of the middle class people. Now that sounds more like it. This writer would like to add, that “tea party” protesters (tea baggers), are just still angry over the fact that McCain lost, or maybe, I do mean maybe, they just loathe the idea of a Black President.

As far as being a socialist, Obama has given billions to Wall Street Bankers. That act is not the action of socialist to me, it seems more like corporate welfare (a capitalist act) and a way to get the economy going again because the greed of wealthy few screwed up the financial markets for the fairness of middle many.

As far as being a surrenderist, Obama made some pretty sweet military moves over the last few weeks, most of which has the Pentagon cheering. Sounds like the Brother will not be surrendering any time soon.

As far as being a slave master, well check your paycheck. I’ll bet there’s a little extra in it and I bet it is not a raise from your employer. You are now paying less in federal taxes. It’s amazing how a little extra money makes you feel a little freer.

But at last, the “tea baggers” have no time for these kinds of facts. They enjoy living in pseudo-reality. In spite of all of the record setting accomplishments made by the Obama administration, all of the support that he wants to give to the middle-class because supporting the middle-class makes America more secure and stronger, the “tea baggers” still feel that Obama is somehow destroying America. I guess that the “tea baggers” would prefer to be slaves to the wealthiest individuals (plantation owners) in America rather than acknowledge the exceptional achievements of the new administration. You know, go back to the “good ole’ days”.

Nevertheless, it does make you wonder. Where were the “tea baggers” when George W. Bush and Dick Cheney inherited Bill Clinton’s record budget surplus and turned it into a record deficit? You think they would have been all over that one. Like I said, it does make you wonder. Is this a Black thing again?

People have been poking a great deal of fun at Nancy Pelosi when she enthusiastically leaps from her House chair in support of the President, but I think we can use a few more just like her. God Bless Nancy Pelosi.

Tea Party? Not hardly! What was displayed was white conservative GOP folks feeling like their bastion of white power is slipping away. Its not true, but they feel it.

The media blast on Fox and on right wing media portrayed the April 15, 2009 as the day when the people’s voice would be heard. However, the voices of the people were stoked my corporate backing … not exactly grassroots like, wouldn’t you say. The issue: taxes. Too many taxes and the people (they say) want their money back.

However, for 95% of the American population, they are getting tax relief. The upper 5% are getting their tax rate moved back to year 2000 levels as established by former president George W. Bush. So, what are these folks complaining about? Well, they are afraid of losing power. White power in particular.

In a nutshell, GWB-Jr. screwed up the nation internally and ruined the USA’s reputation externally that the people spoke to oust the Republican Party. It is a fact that the GOP was responsible for the greatest spending spree in the history of the USA, if not the world. They presided over an Invasion and allowed no-bid contracts to firms directly related to Cheney and Bush. In addition, they allowed corporations and Wall Street to run amuck, bankrupting the country and send the USA into a recession.

The USA needed a change and voted in Obama to make that change. Change is happening and the nation is starting to veer back on course.

The protestors were essentially 99.9% white and were in general middle class citizens. These middle class citizens benefit totally from the plan the Obama administration is offering, and thus, one can observe that it is not about the money, it is about having to call Barack Obama, BOSS. This is not what the GOP envisioned for the nation and are quite shocked about their loss.

However, the GOP should look at it this way; whenever American Blacks dive into new territories we do well. Look at Jackie Robinson, Althea Gibson, Paul Robeson, Michael Jordan, and others. When we excel, we simply excel. What white folks have in the Whitehouse now is the Michael Jordan of Politics and Statesmanship. There really is no need to fear … and they know it. And oh, that is the problem!!

One this blog won’t do is imply that President Obama has to do every damn thing! Hell, that is what having a staff and military is all about. So when I ask did Obama handle the pirates or did the military just do their thing? Most likely a little bit of both. But the bottom line was that Captain Richard Phillips of the US-flagged vessel; the Maersk Alabama was rescued unharmed when 3 Navy Seals killed 3 of the 4 kidnappers.

The fact that Obama gave the military the go ahead to rescue Captain Phillips is a testament to his leadership. This rescue, however, does not mean that the USA can deploy a fleet to the region to watch over every ship. Instead, there should be a coalition of nations that manage security in the region so that valuable supplies can get to their destination.

However, we must say: Good move Mr. President.

Hey, when former President George W. Bush was doing his evil thing in Iraq and the rest of the world the only thing I thought about was where to place my vote and how much support I was going to drum up for my candidate of choice. I had ZERO thoughts of revolution or that the Bush-Cheney storm troopers would come to my door even though the Patriot Act was in full play and they could examine everything I said on the phone or typed on the computer at will. No. I decided to wait to democratically vote this very bad president out of office.

But the last few months have shown how much the right, and most times white, have been insinuating violence as an appropriate solution to a democratic change.

This behavior, demonstrated not only by pundits like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, or Glenn Beck, but by duly elected officials like MN Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann and VA Congressman, Eric Cantor.

Oh, here's a famous Michelle Bachmann qoute:

* the recovery package is part of a Democratic conspiracy to "direct" funding away from Republican districts, so Democratic districts can "suck up" all federal funds. Bachmann doesn't think this will work because, as she put it, "We're running out of rich people in this country."

Yes folks, this lady is unhinged and very dangerous. Why? Because her constituents WANT to believe lies because they cannot rationalize that a black person was smart enough to be elected by a population dominated by white people. Folks, leadership is not bound by color! Leadership is learned and earned!

They have accused the president and congress of being socialist without understanding what socialism really means. They accused Obama of being a redistributor in chief without noting that they gave welfare to oil companies and no-bid welfare contracts to firms like Halliburton, Carlye, KBR, and Xe (BlackWater).

Glenn Beck even played Nazi videos on the blue screen to try to tie the current administration to fascism! An evil, corrupt deal indeed.

There is a lot more I could say about these non patriotic Americans, but you get the drift. Americans are about deliberating intellectually -- not screaming about a revolution. No, these republicans should be pissed that CEOs and other executives took so much from the people they serve. These republicans should be alarmed that they themselves allowed Iraq and Afghanistinian funding for the wars to be separate and hiddle from the people.

Yes, they should be working with the democrats and independents to clean up the mess. But no, they won't do this. Instead there tone is becoming more and more rascist and more and more un-American.

Get your local Black leaders to work

With the Stimulus Package and Reform education, employment and health care Forthcoming, isn't it time that Black Leadership organize itself?

As I read the National Urban League (NUL) request for direct assistance from President Obama I, like many others wondered: what is wrong about our Black leadership examining the current offerings (Stimulus Package) to benefit them and their communities?

Isn't there enough staff in the National Urban League (NUL), 100 Blackmen, NAACP, CORE, and others to fully dissect the policies submitted that can examine the plan directly for their benefits to their constituencies?

For instance, as a former member of the National Society of Black Engineers Alumni Extension (NSBE-AE) I know that this organization can analyze by our government to see what is available to them and what will work for them? Did NUL request the same of the Congressional Black Caucus?

What about other organizations in the Black community the Stimulus package for engineering, computer science, and life science opportunities and more. The National Association of Black Accountants (NABA) could do the same for the general and financial accounting community and the National Black MBA Association (NBMBAA) could do the same for financial services opportunities.

With construction opportunities loaded in the Stimulus Package the National Association of Black Contractors (NABC) should canvas it roads, bridges, and tunnel programs in their states.

Thus, don't leave it up to top level leadership to show you the way. The top leaders of the country have delivered a strategy bolstered up with money; it is up to the leaders in our communities and you, the citizen to implement those plans.

Yes, the US incursion, war, invasion into Iraq continues and with it comes more death to our soldiers and to the Iraqi people. This war as not just a political mistake it was a premeditated strategy to (1) remove Saudi Arabia as one of permanent base allies in the region, (2) get cheap access to the oil riches in Iraq, and (3) build up a few Dick Cheney and George Bush company bottom lines.

The segue: the 911 attack that had everything to do with the Taliban and the 17 out of 19 Saudi Arabians that are known to have made the attack on the World Trade Centers (WTC) in New York City, NY. The attack on Iraq was never about freeing its people. However, it was about bringing down Saddam Hussein, something that was easily being done via an embargo.

Every time you see Venus and Serena in action they are hitting the ball with so much skill that you quickly understand why that at 27 and 28 that are still the best in the game. Serena is currently ranked at No. 1 in the world and Venus at No. 5. All the ladies in between (Dinara Safina, Jelena Jankovic, and Elena Dementieva) play tons of tournaments to up their points. Without those extra tournament points Venus would be ranked No. 2 instead of No. 5. I guess Venus better work on this if she wants to take her sister’s No. 1 crown by the end of the year.

Without these two women in the game the USA would be off the map when it comes to world tennis. Indeed, you can see why the tournament organizers in Indian Wells, CA may have to rethink their apologies to the young ladies for the year 2001 racial comments from the fans. Indian Well, CA, you are really missing out!!

The Bush administration officials facing charges include former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, former Vice President Dick Cheney's chief of staff David Addington, former undersecretary of defense policy, Douglas Feith, John Yoo from the Justice Department, Jay Bybee, and Pentagon lawyer William Haynes.

We will keep a sharp eye on these lying charlatans!
